In Alf Leileh W Leil, we filmed Beirut with almost no electricity. Our rule was simple: film with what we have, and turn difficult circumstances into tools. Art becomes more honest when it resembles the subject it is exploring — when the way of capturing something becomes part of the result itself. For us, the process is as important as the final film, if not more.

Ka2an 3ayshin is a collective artwork built from archival material. It was created during the 2019 Lebanese uprising, at a moment when people were coming together in the streets. It felt necessary for the creation process to reflect that same spirit of collectivity. The work was built collaboratively at every stage : from gathering footage to editing, which became an ongoing back-and-forth between the two of us and other editors.
